Design inspiration
Inspired by the Tang Dynasty mural "Lotus Sutra Illustration" in Dunhuang's Cave 217, where bodhisattvas wear seven-gem necklaces symbolizing cosmic harmony. The 19 jade beads mirror the mural's 19 devotees, while the silver spacers replicate Tang-era filigree work. Ming-dynasty treadle polishing creates a luster akin to moonlight on the Qilian Mountains.
